“We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.” Romans 6:4
Baptism At Shepherd Bible Church
What Is Baptism?
Baptism is one of the two ordinances that Jesus gave His church. Baptism is a public declaration of a person’s faith in Jesus. Baptism publicly identifies us with Jesus, publicly announces our salvation, and publicly represents that through our faith in Jesus we have been buried with him in his death and raised with him into new, eternal life. If you are a believer in Jesus and have not obeyed the Biblical command to be baptized, we would love to talk to you.
