Questions About Shepherd Bible Church

Our church is very casual. You won’t find many suits and ties on a Sunday morning, if any! Most people dress pretty comfortably, but don’t let that stop you if you want to show off the suit!

We have parking lots on both the north and south sides of the building. Both lots provide a very short walk to the entrances on each side of the building.

Handicap Parking: If you require handicap parking, we have reserved handicap parking on the South side of the building.

New Or Expecting Parents: If you are a new or expecting parent, we have dedicated parking spaces for you also on the South side of the building by the back patio entrance.

Our services last about 85 minutes and are full of good news! We don’t gather to climb a religious ladder, we gather to celebrate and remember the cross. Our goal for every service is to read the word, sing the word, pray the word, preach the word, and see the word on display.

Everything we do is centered around the Word of God and the finished work of the Gospel.

We are so glad you asked this. Our greatest hope for every guest is not what they might give to us, but the good news of the gospel that we have to give to them.

Should I give if I am a guest/visitor at your church?

Firstly, the Apostle Paul made tents and raised money from believing church members so that he would not have to ask any new people for money as he shared the Gospel with them (1 Corinthians 9). And our hope is the same. Giving to support the ministry of Shepherd Bible Church is both the joy and responsibility of our members and regular attenders.

Secondly, we understand how this time in a service can be a little awkward for guests. And, we don’t intent to put any pressure on a new person. The Bible actually discourages giving out of compulsion (2 Corinthians 9:7).

As our guest, we would love for you to complete one of our response cards (located in the seat pockets) so we can get to know you better. Please place the completed response card in the offering bucket as it comes by during the service, or in the black boxes at the exit of the auditorium and in the lobby.

We have something for everyone from birth-5th grade on Sunday mornings.

Bringing children with you? Did you know you can let us know you’re coming and you’ll be able to skip the kids ministry check-in line?

This will help you save time upon arrival, and it will help us ensure that your kids have the best experience possible.

We have a student EQUIP class on Sunday mornings at 9am, and then many of our students sit together up on the front two rows of the middle sections during the worship service. Students are also more than welcome to sit with their families.

Yes! We have adult EQUIP classes at 9am which are a great way to get connected to other adults at Shepherd Bible Church.
